Prestige Occasions was approached recently by a client that had come to its event on the 26th July in Savil Court Windsor. The client had their venue, Camberley Lakeside Complex booked for 6th September and we got a call in first week of August saying they had come to see our event on @Savil Court and were impressed with our setup. The client needed wedding planning assistance with his daughters wedding for 500 guests which was only 4 weeks away and worryingly he had nothing booked so far so the client needed someone to help plan and implement the wedding. The venue booked by the client was Lakeside Club House in Camberley, Surrey which is a nice a wedding venue that could accommodate up to 800 guests with beautiful lake view outside ideal for photographs.

Prestige Occasions held their first meeting with the client at the beginning of August and from this meeting it was quite clear the client wanted complete wedding planning and event management for a nice event with great food, nice decoration, car hire, wedding cake, DJ service, Video & Photography service and he was concerned having left everything so late. However after our initial meeting and having seen our event on the 26th July the client quickly gained confidence in the Prestige Occasions team that they could deliver him a quality event. Obviously time was short but we were still confident that we could organise and deliver the client a quality event on the 6th of September. In the space of 2 weeks we had 3 meetings with the client mainly at the wedding venue to discuss the complete wedding arrangements :-

1. For Catering menu clients wanted Mocktails, Canopies, 4 starters, 4 mains and desserts. To make the event look more elegant we suggested having an LED BAR set up in the reception area for the Mocktail drinks which the client agreed with. We also suggested for desserts rather than just the traditional asian desserts we offer something different by having few English options such as Chocolate Mousse to give the menu a complete different feel.
2. The Event Designing was discussed on a number of occasions as the client had a different vision to ourselves on where the stage should be placed. As the client had booked the venue themselves few months earlier they had their minds set on having the stage in a certain place. However Prestige Occasions team did not agree with the client simply because the Stage is the focal point and must be seen by all the guests. Where the client was suggesting the stage we didn’t feel it was appropriate and wouldnt look nice on the day and as we were going to be the Event organisers if the stage did not look right all guests would blame the Event organisers. After a number of discussions with the client he finally agreed to leave it Prestige Occasions on where the stage should be fitted. Apart from the stage we agreed where rest of the tables in the venue should be laid out and we tweaked a few things from the clients original floor plan to make the venue look nicer.
3. For wedding Decoration – We planned & designed the whole decoration for the event by sitting down with the client and getting an understanding of what look & feel they wanted in the venue on the day. One thing our team pointed out as the venue was quite dark we suggested having some crystal glowing effect to bringing lighting & sparkle to the venue on the day. So because of this we suggested having Crystal Canopy stage with LED lightings, Crystal Chandeliers, Crytstal globes & Crystal tree centre pieces. Walkway carpet leading unto the stage and also at the entrance area along with trees to give the venue a better look. Also the venue required some sort of draping in certain area to hide the GRILL BARS so we suggested having white Ivory cloth covering these areas.
4. The client needed a wedding cake and this was proving to be a problem as 6th September wasn’t far away and a very busy weekend for weddings. We still managed to convince one of our suppliers to get the cake which the client wanted done in time. The client gave us a picture of the cake they wanted with no changes at all.
5. The client also required videography & photography service not just for the 6th September but also for 29th August mehndi and for the Civil Ceremony in the middle of September. Prestige Occasions videography team was led by its own Naeem Khan along with 4 other members to capture the complete event. We had a team of 3 videographers and 2 photographers.
6. We also arranged the DJ with white LED dance floor and suggested to the client that the cake should be displayed on the dance floor. We also arranged the Rolls Royce Phantom car for the bride and groom.
7. Chocolate Fountain was arranged by Prestige Occasions with a variety of dips.
8. As clearly the client wanted a nice event for his daughter, Prestige Occasions offered a complimentary sweet stand for the client which has been very popular not just amongst children but also the elder generation in our previous events.

Prestige Occasions delivered the client a fantastic event with a lot of the food cooked on site. The kitchen facilities at Lakeside Complex in Camberley are fantastic infact a caterers dream! Prestige Occasions invited 3 potential clients to come and check the venue & food to see how our team functions on the day. All the clients were impressed with our show and have booked with ourselves for their forthcoming wedding events.

This event was a great experience for Prestige Occasions as the wedding was organised in such short notice and our ONE STOP SHOP Service was hugely beneficial. The client commented that we were very professional and very thorough and regularly available to answer the clients call 24 hours a day whenever they had any queries regarding the event. The client was so pleased with Prestige Occasions that they even requested us to organise their mehndi event one week prior to the event with just 2 weeks notice.
